What Should You Expect in the Hiring Process?

  • Time: 120 minutes online test.
  • Aim: To ensure that you possess the necessary capabilities to join Amazon’s RME team.

Basic skills include – math, verbal and mechanical skills.

This assessment is administered by Ramsay, the same test provider of the Amazon maintenance technician test. As opposed to the maintenance test, the MRA Ramsay Test does not require prior professional knowledge or work experience.

Although these Mechatronics and Robotics apprenticeships aim to create FC employees as mechanical specialists, they’re not required to enter the program in this manner.

This is why the questions about mechanicals on the exam are focused on fundamentals. In essence, these questions aim to determine whether you are naturally capable of comprehending the concepts of mechanicals.

Verbal Questions

IT Apprenticeships

Amazon IT Apprenticeships help you develop your skills over 36 months, including classroom and online training on-site and in conjunction with Amazon’s on-the-job IT training program for employees, which is conducted by our expert teams onsite in our Fulfillment Centers as well as corporate offices.

Automation Engineer Apprenticeship

The Amazon Automation Engineering Apprentice allows you to combine your studies with earning a degree while receiving practical instruction in general engineering principles and PLC control specializations.

At the beginning of the apprenticeship, you will receive practical instruction in a residential setting (Amazon covers travel and lodging), which is where you’ll also start studying towards an HND with a focus on Electrical & Electronics engineering.

In years 2 and 3, you will finish your HND in a block release manner while working with Amazon Automation Engineers in one of their fulfillment centers.

In the fourth year of your apprenticeship, you’ll complete a work-based automation project and attend an evening course at the University of Salford on block release to earn the BA degree. Controls and Automation.

Mechatronics Engineering Apprenticeship

Amazon’s Mechatronics Advanced Apprenticeship allows students to combine university-based education with hands-on instruction.
